Manager, Technology Services (E3)

National School Boards Association seeks professional to provide technical leadership, support and analysis for development and maintenance of voice and desktop systems.

Responsibilities include: Overseeing and providing primary support for client technology on all user desktops; maintaining Help Desk and Inventory Tracking applications; installing standard software and monitoring critical update process; managing desktop licensing, implementation plan and upgrade schedules; and evaluating and providing solutions for technical training needs.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field; three years experience with technical information systems and desktop computing; working knowledge of software application packages and equipment platforms; strong project management skills; and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Director, Advertising Sales

The National School Boards Association seeks a professional to manage advertising sales of the organization to create maximum revenues and profitability.

Responsibilities include: conducting sales activities to build new business and meet sales goals; participating in the strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing and promotion programs for the sales effort; preparing annual sales forecasts, establishing advertising rates and terms, and defining market segments and sales representatives responsible for achieving sales volume; managing and coaching the sales force to achieve maximum sales, including assisting with developing leads, prospecting, resolving problems, and making customer calls.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; five years experience in marketing, sales, and sales management, preferably in advertising or related field; excellent analytical skills to think and plan strategically; excellent communication skills.
