About Promising District Practices
Throughout the years, NSBA's School Health Programs has reached out to education leaders, including school board members, and school districts about their needs to better address school health. We have heard a strong interest from our constituents to learn more about
best practices for addressing the myriad health issues present in schools. What strategies are school districts and schools across the country using to effectively address school health? The
Promising District Practices website, which shares such successes related to school health policies and practices, was developed to make such information available in a practical and easily accessible way.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Adolescent and School Health (CDC/DASH). Its content is primarily featured within the context of a
coordinated school health (CSH) approach and actively strives to demonstrate the link between health and learning.
