Notice to Submitters



Your Promising District Practice is being submitted to NSBA’s School Health Programs. This website is supported through cooperative agreements with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Adolescent and School Health (CDC/DASH). By submitting information for possible publication on this website, you understand and agree to all the following terms and conditions. The information submitted with and in conjunction to this form is true to the best of your knowledge and expertise.

All submissions will receive fair consideration for publication in NSBA's School Health Programs' Promising District Practices website but publication cannot be guaranteed. NSBA has sole discretion over publication decisions.

Your submission may be edited prior to publication. NSBA may use this information in various publications, including, but not limited to, its website, newsletters, and communications with funding sources. Publications may include relevant school district or other named school official(s) names and contact information when supplied to NSBA.

In addition to using information to acknowledge your school health success, NSBA may use your supplied contact information to communicate any questions or updates related to your submission. NSBA also may contact you at a later date to ask for your voluntary feedback and satisfaction with the Promising District Practices website. Other than publications (e.g., posting on website) and for these communications above, NSBA will not use or share this information in any way.

NSBA uses reasonable efforts to assure the accuracy of the Promising District Practices website, but assumes no responsibility for the content’s authenticity. While NSBA provides Promising District Practice examples to share and encourage school health success among school districts, schools, and others across the nation, the content does not necessarily represent the official views of the CDC or of NSBA, nor does it imply endorsement of any kind.

NSBA also relies on school districts/schools to provide updates to information provided to us following submission. Please contact us as new information becomes available, for changes or retractions, and/or any further inquiries.
