Who are the National Consortium's members?
The National Consortium on Tobacco Use Prevention through Schools is comprised of state school boards associations and national, non-governmental organizations (NGO's) with state or regional level affiliates. NGOs that join the Consortium are usually health, education, or tobacco control organizations.
Other organizations and individuals interested in tobacco use prevention through schools, such as members of state tobacco prevention foundations or state health departments, participate in Consortium activities as Consortium Affiliates.
Membership in the Consortium creates opportunities for connecting with others working to promote comprehensive tobacco-free school policies, and provides access to helpful materials and information regarding new and emerging resources in this field.
