National Affiliate Advocacy Network (NAAN)
The National Affiliate Advocacy Network (NAAN) is a service of the National Affiliate Program designed to help members of your local school board become better informed, more active leaders in shaping the future of public education for the 21st century. The president or chairperson of your local school board appoints one member as your board's NAAN representative. Your NAAN representative receives information and resources that your board can use to advocate for public school children at the local, state and federal levels. NAAN members play a vital role in national and legislative campaigns in support of public education.
NAAN Programs Campaign on the Image of Public Education

- Grassroots Campaigns Writing or calling members of Congress, drafting letters-to-the-editor of local newspapers, or commenting on proposed federal regulations are a few of the ways your NAAN representative can advocate on local, state, and federal levels.
