Kansas Association of School Boards
John W. Koepke has been executive director of the Kansas Association of School Boards since 1983. Prior to assuming this position, he served as associate executive director for one year, assistant executive director of the association for three years, and director of publications for eight years.
Koepke was a principal and classroom teacher in the Kansas Public Schools from 1964-1970. He was the 1994-95 chairman of the Federation Executive Directors’ NSBA Liaison Committee and in that capacity, served as an ex-officio member of NSBA’s board of directors.
Koepke has served on numerous NSBA review teams.
