As the second largest high school district in Illinois with 12,000 students, it was designated a . lighthouse. district for technology by the state of Illinois in 1995.
With a robust ATM wide area network, 100 MB switched to the desk top local area network in each building, and a shared DS3 connection to the internet, teachers are discovering new and innovative ways to integrate technology into the curriculum and engage students in the learning process.
