National Black Caucus of School Board Members
The mission of the
National Black Caucus of School Board Members (NBC) is to promote the goals and vision of the NSBA by providing leadership for student achievement and fostering excellence and equity in public education. The National Black Caucus will continue its involvement in legislative initiatives ranging from literacy rates to standardized testing, and education leadership issues from professional development to effective governance.

The Caucus leadership consists of four officers, five regional directors, and two ex officio members.

The Caucus has three membership levels: Regular, Associate, and Corporate. Membership is open to anyone interested in improving education for African American students.
