MySpace Offers new Administrator's Guide
NSBA is working with MySpace to disseminate its new Administrator’s Guide as a PDF for districts that are Technology Leadership Network members. The explosive growth of social networking has created challenges for some school leaders, and NSBA felt the guide is an excellent resource for superintendents and principals. It provides direct phone and e-mail access to reach the appropriate individuals within MySpace should school leaders experience a problem with postings by any of their students or faculty.
MySpace has requested that its Administrator's Guide not be reproduced and distributed to parents since they have other materials available for that audience and wish to keep the educators' access numbers open for specific, school-related questions. Information for parents is on the MySpace website.
Please note: NSBA does not have hard copies of this guide. MySpace is happy to fulfill additional requests for copies of the
Administrator's Guide as long as it is for distribution to other school principals, counselors, the school's legal counsel, or district administrators. If you have any questions about the guide, please contact
Simrin Mangat from Fox News.
