It’s no surprise that companies have had to innovate their in-person meetings. Video meetings have become the standard for business these days, and it’s fair to say we’re all a little fatigued. Blue Bird saw this as an opportunity to innovate how people get behind the wheel of their new buses. Enter the PIT Grand Tour, a five-week virtual tour across North America. It is the first event of its kind in the K-12 transportation world. Every week, the tour will stop in a new city and drive the local streets, allowing online participants to get behind the wheel virtually. Blue Bird will also unlock different giveaways each week as the tour progresses. There is no cost for participants to join the PIT Grand Tour, thanks to nine sponsors that backed this ambitious idea.

Blue Bird didn’t stop with the idea of a five-week virtual tour. They wanted it to connect anyone who participated to their local community. To accomplish this, they activated over 50 regions across North America to be a part of the PIT Grand Tour. The outcome creates a localized experience for participants, connecting them with experts in their area.

According to Blue Bird, the PIT Grand Tour is designed for anyone interested in school buses. They have developed the content to immerse participants in their new buses and allow them to go deeper into specific technologies if they want to learn more.

The tour kicks off on May 17, 2021, and continues across North America for five weeks. Participants can join for free at any time as the tour progresses.
